We were delighted to recently be featured in the East Anglian Daily Times ‘Construction East’ Section, showcasing our work carried out with school students and young adults not in education, based in Suffolk.
The article, published on the 24th October 2018 in the newspaper and available online, highlights some of the work that we have done recently, which includes teaching a group of students from Chantry Academy deemed as being disengaged with mainstream education a Level 2 First Award in Construction & The Built Environment. We have also carried out programmes for those not in education, offering them accredited training in Construction areas such as Plumbing, Bricklaying, Roofing & Carpentry. To date, these projects have been extremely successful with individuals who are not usually engaged in education really excelling and developing new skills whilst doing so, leading to increased self-confidence and employment opportunities.
We are looking to increase our provision through the coming months and have already had a strong uptake for the training we can offer high-schools, trusts & DWP based in suffolk. If you would like to discuss how we can help you or your organisation then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01473 830255.
