Eastern Region Training have put together a short Q&A on our online training courses that answers some of the questions you may be unsure of:
Q1. How long does Online Training take to complete?
Each Online Training course takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete, depending on the pace the candidate works through them. The courses are designed to keep candidates engaged through this time.
Q2. How do I access my Online Training course?
Eastern Region Training set each delegate up on the Online Training platform, with a login using their email address (can be a work or personal email address). A link then gets sent to the delegates’ email, simply follow the link to access the course.
Q3. Do I have to complete the course in one sitting?
You can start, pause and go back to the course as many times as you need to and your progress will not be lost
Q4. Do I have to complete my course at work?
No. You can access the site at any time, in or out of working hours, on any computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
Q5. What do the courses consist of?
The courses are made up of 2 elements. The first element is the training/ information slides which each delegate must read through. The second element is the exam at the end to test delegates’ learning.
Q6. What happens if I fail my test?
You get unlimited attempts at the test so should you fail, you can go through the slides again to check your knowledge.
Q7. When and how do I receive my certificate?
Delegates receive their certificates when they have read through all of the training material and passed the test at the end. Eastern Region Training send electronic or hard copies of the certificate, depending on the client’s preference.
Q8. How much do the courses cost?
Our online courses are £19.99 + VAT pp with the exception of our Asbestos Awareness and Non-Licensed Asbestos courses which are £29.99 + VAT pp. We offer discounts on group bookings depending on the size of the group.
Q9. I’m not confident using a laptop/tablet for training, what can i do?
Our Online Courses are designed to be user-friendly, easy to navigate and as clear as possible for all users. If you do get stuck at any point, give one of our dedicate team members a call on 01473 830255 and they will be able to guide you through your course.
Q10. Is online training the same as face to face training?
