During January, Eastern Region Training have been delighted to hold weekend carpentry workshops for primary school students aged between 9-11.
The students, who attended one of our Construction mornings at their primary school in November or December were given the opportunity to try their hands at some basic carpentry, in a fun, safe environment. Each student was invited to attend the weekend session with a parent/guardian or carer, providing some quality bonding time whilst doing something productive!
The children and parents that attended had a great time at the training centre on their course with the students building their own bird box and taking it home alongside a free toolkit for attending!
