Method of Assessment
The Level 6 NVQ is assessed on-site. These on-site assessments are not disruptive to your day of work; the assessor will observe and record your day-to-day tasks. Evidence is collected through video, photographs, professional discussions and method statements.
Duration
On average, it can take candidates anywhere between 6-9 months to complete their Level 6 NVQ. The duration is very much dependent on the quality of evidence that the assessor can collect on each visit.
CITB Funding
A CITB grant of £1250 is available to companies registered with the Construction Industry Training Board (for achievements up to December 2025, to be reduced to £600 from January 2026)
